What does your org do?

The majority of the work we do in AIM consists of semester-based projects where we work in teams to develop marketing strategies for our clients. This can include client meetings, team meetings, onsite visits and individual work. Aside from client projects, we also offer our members professional development opportunities which typically include company visits, guest speakers and networking events. Lastly, we also host social events for our members to get to know each other better!

When do you meet?

We hold club meetings every Wednesday from 8-9:30 pm PST. Consulting teams also coordinate meeting times individually based on availability.

What do your meetings consist of?

During our weekly meetings we have deliverable presentations, professional workshops, and guest speakers.

Why is your organization different than others?

AIM is the only marketing-focused consulting organization on campus.

What it would look like if I were to join?

If you were to join AIM, you would be placed on a consulting team with four other members and work with one client each semester on marketing-specific consulting projects. By the end of the semester, you and your team will present your final recommendations in a presentation along with a detailed deck to your client. In addition to the consulting aspect of AIM, we also host retreats, workshops, and socials each semester.

What is the time commitment per week?

As a consultant, you can expect to spend anywhere from two to five hours a week on AIM-related work.

Do I need to be experienced in marketing or consulting to apply?

Not at all! We often take candidates with no prior experience in marketing or consulting. We look for students passionate about marketing and working in teams to solve a problem.

Are info sessions mandatory?

Attending info sessions is not required to apply to AIM, although they may be helpful in gaining a better feel for our organization prior to applying.
